LGPL basically means your users have the right to modify the Qt part of your application. You can choose which one you want to use. Qt is available under LGPL, GPL or with a commercial license. Qt Quick Designer is similar, but for building QML GUIs. Qt Designer is a graphical tool that lets you build QWidget GUIs.
You don’t have to use it, but it greatly simplifies Qt development. What is the difference between Qt Creator and Qt Designer? Note that the executable is named “designer.exe”.QT Designer will be installed in C:\Qt\5.8\mingw53_32\bin\designer.exe.Make sure you include “Qt 5.8 MinGW” component.Install latest QT (I’m using 5.8) from QT main site.
